Role Overview
TheLyfe Co. is seeking a detail-oriented, organised, and analytical Accounts Officer Intern to support the finance and accounting functions of the organisation.
The successful candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, expense tracking, invoice management, payment documentation, reconciliations, and the preparation of basic financial reports. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to gain practical experience in accounting, financial administration, and business operations within a fast-paced organisation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduate, NYSC member, or candidate seeking practical accounting experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage but not mandatory.
